Andrew E. Marino, MD is a NJ native from Wall, NJ. He received a bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania State University and then went on to earn his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He recently graduated from Robert Wood Johnson-Barnabas Health Somerset Family Medicine Program. Dr. Marino has been a patient of Dr. Dave Dornfeld since he was nine years old and he loved the medical career option as he matured within the practice. Throughout his medical training he had always yearned to become an associate working at Family Wellness Center, and shadowed Dr. Dave on many opportunities over his high school and college years. Dr. Marino has interests in all aspects of family practice, especially the prevention of illness progression. He has specialized concentrations in sports medicine, integrative medicine, and helping patients and their families combat tick-borne illnesses, aging related conditions and is greatly interested in helping those with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Dr. Marino received the CLINICAL EXCELLENCE AWARD for his outstanding abilities in Clinical Knowledge, Judgment and Skill for his Caring and Compassionate Patient Care. He was noted for having the highest continuity rate in the entire residency program. He also received the "Physician of the Year" award from Robert Wood Johnson Hospital program. In addition, Dr. Marino was commended for completing the 200 hours of additional coursework to obtain certification in integrative medicine.
